The program

What Campus
Crew is

Campus Crew is Alma’s optional program for residents who want a hand in how their community runs. You choose how to take part. It is not a job: no hours, no wages, and it never affects your lease.

Questions

How it
works

Short answers on joining, time, pay and the bursary. Anything else is on the FAQ page.

How do I join?
New prospects join through the standard leasing and bursary process. Eligible residents at participating communities are enrolled in Campus Crew.
Do I need to take part to receive the bursary?
No. Taking part in the optional tracks does not affect bursary eligibility, bursary payments or your lease.
Do I get paid?
No. Campus Crew is not employment and does not involve hourly wages or required hours. The bursary is the financial support available to eligible new residents.
What is the connection to campus clubs?
The Campus Connectors track gives residents the option to introduce their building to their clubs and student associations. You do not need to be part of a club to take part.
How much time does it take?
There is no fixed time commitment. Choose one or more tracks and take part in individual activities when it fits.
What social content would I create?
Optional, resident-led content showing real life, events and community at your building. Nothing is scripted or mandatory, and consent and disclosure apply.
What is in it for me?
A flexible way to build experience, shape your community and connect with campus life.
Bursary

The Campus
Crew bursary

As part of Campus Crew, eligible residents can also apply for a bursary, a form of financial support designed to help with the cost of education and living expenses while studying. Full-time students at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution who sign a new lease at a participating residence may apply to receive this award directly, as one more way Campus Crew supports students throughout their time with Alma.

  • Full-time students
  • Accredited Canadian post-secondary
  • New lease at a participating residence

Lease terms and current offers are on each community page.
