Building Updates
Monthly Fire Alarm Testing
Our monthly fire test 🧯will be taking place on Wednesday August 9th at 10am. You will hear the fire alarm going off while they are in the building as the system will be on test.
*If you hear the fire alarm going off consistently at any time, it is imperative that you leave the building.
Maintenance Requests
All maintenance requests are now submitted through your Entrarta Resident portal. If have yet to register, please email us as soon as possible.
Garbage Room
The garbage room is located on the main floor by the North elevator - in the hallway of the 100 level units. Please ensure you take your garbage down to the garbage room daily. ♻️ You'll notice we have Green bins, recycling bins and garbage bins. The Green Bins are not for your garbage. If you are unfamiliar with what goes where, you can download the Guelph waste app in the App Store or Google Play.
Kitchen
Please remember that the kitchen is a shared space and the fridges and freezer in the community kitchen are shared amongst all residents. Please be respectful of the space by using the shared fridges and freezer for items that do not fit your mini fridge. Reminder, all cooking supplies including pots and pans, are to be stored in your units.
BBQs
The BBQs are for the ALMA community and we ask that you clean them after each use. The red valve behind each BBQ is used to turn the gas line on and off. Please do remember to turn the gas line off when you are done using the BBQ. If you are unsure how to work the BBQ, please feel free to pop by the office and we can show you.
Bike Room
Bike racks have now been installed in the bike room 🚲 and are accessible using your fob. The bike shelter will be built this fall.

Wind down your day to Wellness 🧘🏾. Finish your day feeling relaxed and focused with a 45 min Yoga session in our Fitness Centre.
GAMES night
August 16th @ 8:00pm
Join other ALMA residents in our dining hall across from the Kitchen at 8pm to play board games. Our board games are currently located in the media unit in our Games and Arcade room. We've added a few more new games which are located in the media unit in meeting room 2. All those that attend, will have their name entered to win two tickets 🎟️ to homecoming.
Smores Night
Wednesday August 23rd at 8pm
RAINCHECK - Our smores night was cancelled in July due to rain. Hang out with other ALMA residents on our brand new patio and enjoy a Canadian staple.
