August 2025 Events, Updates And News From ALMA

MOVE IN DAY- AUGUST 29th 2025

Our official move in day will be August 29th for all our future residents- this will be a very busy, hectic and loud day with limited parking and lots of traffic in and around the building so keep that in mind. If you are emailing or calling the office, be prepared for slower answering times since the team will be very busy. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Monthly Fire Alarm Testing

Our big yearly fire alarm test 🧯will be taking place on August 14th and 15th between 8:30am and 5:00pm. You will hear the fire alarm going off while they are in the building as the system will be tested. They will need access to all units, an email was sent requesting entry during those times.

*If you hear the fire alarm going off consistently at any time, it is imperative that you leave the building.

Maintenance Requests

Submit all maintenance requests through your Entrata Resident Portal. This would include things such as your Grata lock informing you that your battery is low, your thermostat battery is low or anything else you need us to have a look at and fix/replace. Please do not use your Grata app.

Garbage Room

Garbage room has been rearranged – please do not just open the door and throw your garbage bags on the floor. ♻️ If you are unfamiliar with what goes where, you can download the Guelph waste app in the App Store or Google Play.

Kitchen

Please remember that the kitchen is a shared space, please do not leave your dishes, pots and pans lying about, take them back to your unit otherwise they will be subject to removal. The fridges and freezers in the community kitchen are shared amongst ALL residents. Please be respectful of the space by using the shared fridges and freezers for items that do not fit your mini fridge.

Pool Table

Please take care of the pool table and pool cues.
