Building Updates
Monthly Fire Alarm Testing
Our monthly fire test 🧯will be taking place on Wednesday, February 14th, at 10am. You will hear the fire alarm going off while they are in the building as the system will be on test.
*If you hear the fire alarm going off consistently at any time, it is imperative that you leave the building.
Maintenance Requests
Submit all maintenance requests through your Entrata Resident portal. This would include things such as your Grata lock informing you that your battery is low, your thermostat battery is low or anything else you need us to have a look at and fix/replace. Please do not use your Grata app.
Garbage Room
Garbage room has been rearranged - please do not just open the door and throw your garbage bags on the floor. ♻️ If you are unfamiliar with what goes where, you can download the Guelph waste app in the App Store or Google Play
Kitchen
Please remember that the kitchen is a shared space and the fridges and freezers in the community kitchen are shared amongst all residents. Please be respectful of the space by using the shared fridges and freezers for items that do not fit your mini fridge. We will be incorporating a biweekly clean, with more details to come in the new year.
Pool Table
Please take care of the pool table and pool cues.

Every Tuesday and Thursday 5 - 6 pm
Are you missing your pet from home? Take a Paws gives you an opportunity to take a break from the stress of school to meet therapy dogs from St. Johns Ambulance. This event runs everyTuesday and Thursday on campus, and it open to all students. Just make sure you reserve your spot ahead of time!
Poker Night Every Friday ♣️
A fan favourite, join other residents at ALMA for a night of poker every Friday night in February. This event will not be run by the ALMA team but more so for all of you to connect and play some poker.

Treat yourself to a warm beverage from our hot chocolate bar! Bring Your Own Mug (BYOM) and garnish your hot chocolate with whip cream, marshmallows, and other seasonal toppings. Then, stay and hang out with your friends while playing a board/card game! 🎲
